new owner for two weeks. fantastic phone for the price. first android phone and so much to explore.
use Vplayer Advanced... tried it can play almost any format... tested on flv, mkv, avi.... have not try rmvb
use papago... if connected to dataplan/wifi, can get faster connection to satellite... else quite slow to get locked to satellite
games - nfs shift, racing thunder... runs well, no issue...
Camera360 - awesome apps... works fine too..

mms... whenever got someone send me mms, only I turn on the DataPacket... else turn-off most of the time...
so mms works fine too...

youtube streaming great too...
use launcher pro now... awesome...
installed FreeMusicDownload... great for searching songs and download...
Documents To Go... compatible with your MS Office documents
Ringdroid for extracting songs for ringtone

tried upgrading firmware once using Kies but it says not enough memory... have not try since then...

still looking for maybe 'skin' for the phone...
planning to root and extend the internal memory as suggested by few forumers here...
it took me more than a week to view this whole thread!!!!

if u browse thru the whole thread of this topic, someone shared the version of nfs shift that can be played and it is not the latest one in the applanet... as noted by bugeca, I searched on internet, download into my pc, transfer the .apk file to sd card and install...

for the price to pay... the problems seems small to me... I din face any problems on the phone so far other than having to make internal memory space...

I have upgraded the firmware and rooted with super one click... feels faster than usual when scrolling... have not tried games... but not sure if because of the rooting it cause me not able to launch applanet... tried installing the latest version 2.8 but still cannot access as of this morning...

next step: extend internal memory as suggested by one of the forumer here... anyone tested?

do i really need my c:\ drive to have 3gb of free space?
ive actually install the software in another one.

I got this same error message before and it is due to yout C: drive insufficient space. Just clear it more than 3GB and it will work. Not sure why but able to upgrade firmware once I clear C: drive space.

Well previously I also encounter this problem. It may be related to WIFI. But somehow after I updated my firmware, this problem seems to be fixed. But I'm not sure 100% though.

BTW, is there a simple way to check whether my phone is rooted or not?

if u use superoneclick... once rooted... there is an icon 'superuser' appear on your list of programs.
and if you have app2sd, you will see a function for you to move apps from your phone to sdcard enabled.
