Was quoted RM949 with 3 years warranty by SenQ Gurney during promotion last weekend. I paid deposit 100 and sales guy said I can cancel order within a month and get back the cash.

With the price hike on the new stocks, I hope they will still honor the price.

Can anyone please let me know whether the video playback on (xvid, avi and mkv) using rock player is smooth on Ace?

I read that mp4 play smoothly but I do not want to convert to mp4 everytime I want to watch movies. (mainly avi files).

Please advise as I'm comparing with the Acer Liquid Metal.

Thanks for the feedback Dannyl. Not sure if this is hardware limitation or codec issue? Have anyone tried other Video Player?

Btw, did you try QQ Player for flv? Read somewhere that it is playing smoothly.

I think Danny is referring to Rock Player. Have any owners tried other players?

Hi Samsung,

Please take note that there is a problem with Galaxy Ace 5830 notifications ringtones volume. When we select mp3, the volume is very very low even we set the volume to the max and this is not acceptable.

No issue when performing the same for phone ring tone and alarm.

A lot of people have been complaining about this problem in the internet.

Please resolve this as soon as possible.

Kies.i set launch when phone connect.kies will check for update

Successfully upgrade the firmware after upgraded the Kies to latest version.

Now I can auto sync when connect.
