Wait till the next Pokemon game release in the 3DS. By then, the sales would skyrocket if you ask me.

Vita needs more games. Good ones like, Dark Souls good. Having a touchscreen wouldn't be enough

NOW I HAD A 3DS..AND STILL FUNDING FOR THE VITA..I LOVE ALL PORTABLE GAMING SYSTEM..THE VITA GRAPHIC REALLY IS SOMETHING RIGHT??WHILE THE 3DS IS JUST OK VITA IS LIKE ULTRA SUPER..BUT I THINK 3DS STILL IS THE BETTER SYSTEM..IT IS AFTER ALL FROM NINTENDO..

well, 3DS got 1 point from for me because of Tales of Abyss. unless its gonna come in PSVITA too

But I think most recent Tales series going to come out to VITA soon cause got second analog stick.

if a comparison were to be made.nintendo 3ds will lose big time.it's a fact.but a gamers will always be gamers right.we probably buy them both like previous system.

the sad thing is only graces f confirm will have english ps3. vesperia complete ps3 and xillia ps3 no news yet for english other than the fan translation that utilize hacked ps3

now if they put all the previous tales in vita, that would be heaven. to play back toe/tod/tod2/symphonia/symphonia2/abyss/vesperia/graces f/xillia... but its just a big dream. bamco doesn't even want to let small group handle it like Gust and NIS. they make all the japanese rpg game possible, plus giving us dua audio!

i know pokemon will boost nintendo sales . but im wondering how did pokemon sells so well when the gameplay is the same from 90s ..they madr graphics bit better but not much, storyline just different abit ..
new pokemon .. hurm what else .. i dunno latest pokemon how.. but the last pokemon i played looks similar to pokemon yellow

anyway pokemon is the only take turn games i like . nvr enjoyed digimon, ff .when plying a while cn get addicted.

and you never know why Asian got hooked by monster hunter series just like western got hooked by fps

I think when the next pokemon series comes out, probably by end of this year or early next year, 3DS going to sell like hot cakes.
Imagine pokemon with AR technology where you can view all the pokemon you collected info on pokedex on real surface.
Also, possibility of pokemon match on real surface. Don't even need to method 3d pokemon attacks and movement.
Add in real time-based pokemon (raising/dating) games, hnggggggghhhhhhhhh.........

and with graphics that really use all the 3ds powerhouse had to offer..not like previous entry where they only upgraded the graphics a little.

I hope this threas is not dead yet. Would like to hear more opinion on 3ds and ps vita after they already been several months on the market.

So as we know, 3ds are sold very well indeed lately with the ratio of almost 5:1 compared to PSV thanks to current large library of games topped with backward compatibility and their new comers like pokemon, tales of abyss, icarus and so on.

While PSV having a very great specs on its hardware, their lack of games up to date is really a turned down to most. Yes, they already have some great games already entitled to it like uncharted, Gravity rush and persona, but still to compare overall, the list is still very small. But they keep promising that "killer" game will come in the future

I am planning to buy one of the handheld game console and it might be between the on coming 3ds XL or PSV. Alreasy sold my ps3 because now i am regularly on the move and ps3 might only collecting the dust at home.

Would like to hear more opinion especially those who has experience on both platform. For me, specs, hardware, looks are second What I look after is gaming experience. My fav games are mostly in adventure and rpg.

What do you guys think about both consoles future? Will 3ds attratcts more dev hence more games in the future? Or PSV will trump after their promised "killer" games come out in the future. Eagerly waiting for FFX remaster myself.

And don't start to compare with iOS coz i think a proper game platform is better.
