Btw, if anyone have noticed Maxis have recently launched something similar to DiGi smart plan.. it's called Maxis value internet plan. It has three package.

No contract
RM 75 for 3.5GB.
RM 50 for 1.5GB

1 year contract
RM 48 for 1.5GB + RM 5 for 500MB if needed.

Pay as u use calling.
RM 0.12 sen Maxis to Maxis
RM 0.20 sen Maxis to other networks.

Death to DiGi!!!

...or it is time for them to revise their smartplan rates  brows.gif

Seems attractive but for DiGi smart plan, even if you over your monthly quota you still can use the internet for FREE but only at slower speed.

Unless our beloved Maxis does this as well, else it still won't be a DiGi smart plan killer.

Just want to ask, for Maxis Surfmore plan, when using Viber over 3G/HSDPA network, why Maxis still charge me?

Today, I make a very short call for about few second using Viber, why Maxis charged my RM0.05? Why it is not free since I just started my Surfmore plan yesterday.  hmm.gif
*
Why are you so sure about the RM0.05 was being charged for the Viber call?

Check my Maxis account from website and time and date.  I am sure what I done at that time.  tongue.gif

I see. You should call up Maxis to ask to confirm IMO. This should be interesting.

Or maybe you can try using Viber one more time to confirm if they really charge for Viber calls?

Correction, I think the Maxis code does still work as I tested it just now. The problem is there is no meaningful response from their system after sending the code.

Bros, it's true that we need to call Maxis to deactivate the Voicemail.

They will ask registrar full name as a recognition.

You can't use the code, period.  nod.gif

Tried the #109# code myself just now. Confirmed cannot use.

Need to call them up or post up your request in their forum.

Hi guys, any Sabahan in this thread?

Wonder if there's LTE in Sabah? I'm currently on Umobile, the speed is pretty bad, are they sure they are roaming it on the Maxis 3G? Because the Maxis 3G on my iPad is much much faster than the one on my Umobile.

Went to Maxis Centre today, was told by the staff that the supplementary line number must be my name? Meaning my family and friends cannot be my supplementary? How can it be?

I want to subscribe to Validity 365 but it is not available for #Hotlink Plan. What can I do?

Our apologies Validity365 is not available for #Hotlink, because the proposition of #Hotlink is FREE Basic Internet; if you wish to have low maintenance and long validity for your Hotlink, you may stay in current plan and purchase Validity365 or Validity90 for long validity period.

I want to subscribe to Active 10 but it is not available for #Hotlink Plan. What can I do?

Our apologies, Active 10 is not available for #Hotlink Plan, however you will get to enjoy FREE Basic Internet service in #Hotlink Plan. #Hotlink plan gives you low flat rates to friends and family from all local networks at 12sen/30sec. You can communicate with your loved ones via whatsapp and other social media for free with #Hotlink plan.

NO wonder someone using the new #Hotlink Plan just throw away the sim card down the drain...
*
The name on the pack - #Hotlink is already a hint on that this new Hotlink package is focused on internet savvy users. But what I don't like about this pack is that you must reload to enjoy the free basic 64kbps internet, that's basically nothing impressive here as it would render useless, compared to the free calls on the DiGi easy.

That said, there are still many users out there wanting this pack for the free internet as they only use whatsapp and chat applications. And then, the credits that was saved for not needing to subscribe any types of these internet packages would then be used to make calls.

Porting from DiGi to Maxis for the SurfMore 50 package. But strange is, it didn't send me texts stating that I am requesting a port out like any others I did before?

How much is it to replace a SIM card? Damn the customer service at Warisan Square is always so misleading. Don't Maxis provide training or something?

Was told to pay rm8.80 and lose the credit inside. But will be given rm5 credit. Turns out to be my credit is still there but there's no additional rm5 which I paid for?

Anyone can clarify this?
