Hmm you dont need to inform banks etc. If you direct debit to pay bills, when you port out, the maxis customer service team will make sure you clear all your owing amount, then they will cancel your debit service / settle with the bank. When all is done at maxis' end, you can then port in to another telco. MNPs are quite easy nowadays... Line is too bad , getting overcharged. Mind sharing your experience with maxis before the decision of porting out?
I'm using Maxis... when I finish my 3gb quota, I got throttled to 64kbps, but I find that its still alright to whatsapp/tweet. Good with the line and service so far la, no complains Mind sharing your experience with maxis before the decision of porting out?
