I just activated my Hotlink 365 few days ago(rm33 has been deducted from my credit) but then yesterday I received a SMS from Hotlink gift

In this case, what happen if I send the YES to 27708 again? Will I still get the free RM33 credit? :blur:

Yesterday, I rang someone and he didn't pick up, after the tone a short speech telling me that he's not picking up the phone costed me RM0.35 for a 1 second call... ARGH!!!!

You just have to swap from normal internet to prepaid broadband at *100#, then buy a package after that it will instruct you how to change the APN from unet to bbnet (or else your credit will be suuuuuucked dry)

I also received that offer, even my hotlink 365 valid till march 2013. I think it's better just to ignore it. The credit has to be used in one month anyway, hardly suitable since hotlink 365 is designed for light user.

They just blast the SMS without filtering?
It's looks like u get rm33 compensation got the rm33 u paid for the Hotlink 365 aka u get free Hotlink 365...is my understanding correct?

Yes, something like dat. Except the credit can only be used on Maxis or Hotlink plus it's only last for 30 days. You still need to top up RM30 in the first six months too.

Hi, just changed from hotlink top1 plan(old plan from 2003) to hotlink bagus one week ago, really save a lot..haha.. with avtive 10, only 0.13/minutes..highly recommended for those old hotlink user.

just received from hotlink, 1.5GB/30days internet pass cost only RM20, limited to 10000 customer.

Is this prepaid broadband? Or mobile Internet plan? Saw a post stating he has trouble after subscribe to it.. No info found on the Hotlink website thou...

A forumer said earlier Hotlink 365 subscribers will get back their 365 validity if they call maxis. Can anyone verify that?

I can't find anything like that stated on its website. it just say

"All Hotlink Plans account lifecycle will be superseded with the Hotlink Bagus Plan lifecycle of 30 days Active Period, with an additional 90 days Deactive Period. This is also applicable to Hotlink 365 customers. "

Is it something of a off record thing or something.

yes, my experience like that

i renewed my Hotlink 365 shortly before Bagus plan was announced

then i switch to Bagus, and my validity was reset to 30 days from switching

emailed to Maxis to sort it out

and within about 2 weeks, they reset my Hotlink 365 date back

so it should be ok, just a bit messy that's all

can contact Maxis beforehand if you prefer
