QUOTE(dgboy @ Jan 22 2012, 11:00 PM) yes the latest new hotlink plan it is RM10 for 10 days after that, got 50 days before the line is terminated (losed the number) but after 30 days, any credit remaining will be forfeited Hotlink 365 not available to maintain the validity, you might consider top up RM100 (for 100 days), and then "sell" the spare credit to friends under Share A Top Up Hmm I'll port out from Hotlink once my youth club expires...

Hello everyone, im from Singapore and I just bought a hotlink 8.80 prepaid card and topped up RM20 when i registered. However, I realise something strange when I check my statement. I was charged multiple times for GPRS at RM1.. Anyone knows how to avoid this? I topped up on 14:38:06 and from then on, I was charged RM1.. until my RM20 went 0... I read the first post of this thread and I'm suspecting that I need to deactivate GPRS using this.. QUOTE GPRS Setting ~ To activate GPRS - *133# To deacitvate GPRS - #133# Please advice. Thank you.

But it is still charging me usage for GPRS. your statement suggests that you did not renew the RM8 daily package after 24 hours it lapses, and you will be charged pay as you use (PAYU) rates if you do not buy another pass that's why the PAYU charges started on 23 Jan, 24hrs and 10 seconds after you subscribed on 22 Jan

Hi, does anyone know any USSD String to sms/query our SMS Usage? Something like what AT&T provides in the US.
The reasons I'm asking is because there isn't any app nor is it in the Settings of our iPhone to find out about how many SMS'es sent out.
I called Maxis but they couldn't give me.
Thanks in advance

HYC club have daily SMS counter under USSD
The code is *127# and that is only for SMS to Maxis-Hotlink numbers
As far as I know, it does not work for other plans

Dear dgboy, Thanks for the info. I guess Maxis programmers or technical people out there will know the USSD string to give us a SMS sent out count. But anyway, your information is appreciated. By the way, does anyone of you out there know of any iOS app that is similar to JupiterApps' "PhoneUsage" ? i just switch from postpaid to prepaid .
the maxis staff say , get the rm5 old style top up coupon , i can get 90days validity ?
but i tried with rm10 coupon , the validity still stuck at 1/3/2012, it didnt change .just the balance change
any idea on how the new top up validity rated?
eg rm10 for 10days ? rm30 for 30days ?
does i eligible to apply for hotlink 365?
