Thanks but I don't see any RM18/month 100MB data plan...closest is RM18 for 2 weeks but same 100MB

On a side note, last time I remember I did use this service before when I travelled outstation. iirc I took the daily pass of RM8 but it totally didn't work at all. It deducted RM8 for the pass, then I started surfing some web then it deduct me again??!! Until my money all gone wtf.

i guess the RM18/month is for postpaid only.

It happen to me before there two type of broadband

one is mobile broadband and is prepaid broadband something like tat

If u choose mobile broadband your phone wont work u need put into devices like ipad or those 3G thingie.

So make sure u choose the right one or it mess it all up

I have a UMobile SIM with UMI. The 3G coverage is a joke. In cities it's ok, but the moment you leave cities you'll never find 3G anymore.

Maxis has the best 3G coverage, which is why I'm still holding on to a Maxis SIM. Or else I would've switched long time ago.

Note: Location of reference is Broga, Semenyih, the place where I'm at 5 days of a week (studying here).

Hotlink have finally amended their website Plans page

this page now has Staying Active (which mentions 90 days validity for RM5 topup) under the FAQ > Old Hotlink Plan tab - previously it was under FAQ > General Enquiries

however, as you can see, above the 4 bars on that page, it still says NEW HOTLINK PLAN at the top, which wording remains whatever bar you click on to expand

it remains that Maxis nowhere reveals the every day validity for the new plan is 1 day per RM1 of topup

some progress, but too late for many people (including me haha) who switched to the new plan and found out the hard way it does not deliver the validity expected

Is there an extra charge for non maxis voice plan suscriber to suscribe the tablet data plan now? I yesterday go suscribe the plan and today they inform me that I will be charged another RM10 extra per month as I had no maxis voice plan....

After there, I go search for FAQ(again) and I found bout the 2nd 4. part, which I am completely having no idea what is it about b4....
