it says service not available when i dial *122#. does it mean the line is as good as dead? can hotlink or maxis reactivate it for me?

maxis needs to reduce their data fees.. very pricey

if your phone still register with the network, meaning the Maxis name appears on the screen and you can receive call and sms, then still got hope

better call Maxis or better visit one their main centres

my line cannot call 122 yet still can call the other helpline 11311

but certainly by now any credit balance will be bakar

Did you connect via Maxis 3G Internet or Maxis 3G WAP ?

Maxis 3G internet...btw I already found the solution as I have to switch my current profile to Hotlink profile...last time forgot to switch back to Hotlink when the so called "free flow internet" using handphone a few month ago.

i doubt so because its your phone that retrieve it. On nokia phones we can turn it off. Or you can just delete your access point from your phone.
