QUOTE(prasys @ May 11 2014, 04:31 PM) Thinking of porting out from maxis , anything else that I should know before porting out ? Hmm you dont need to inform banks etc. If you direct debit to pay bills, when you port out, the maxis customer service team will make sure you clear all your owing amount, then they will cancel your debit service / settle with the bank. When all is done at maxis' end, you can then port in to another telco. MNPs are quite easy nowadays... Line is too bad , getting overcharged. Good with the line and service so far la, no complains Mind sharing your experience with maxis before the decision of porting out? |

QUOTE(prasys @ May 11 2014, 04:31 PM) Thinking of porting out from maxis , anything else that I should know before porting out ? You actually need to inform your bank whenever you switch to any telco because the bank needs to update it in their database for TAC SMS purposes. If not, you won't be able to receive the TAC SMS after you switch telco via MNP.Line is too bad , getting overcharged. Thanks for correcting & for the info lol But if we keep the same number, then there's no need to update the bank right? Cause the TAC SMS will be sent to the same number......? Things have just gone badMind sharing your experience with maxis before the decision of porting out? I thought it was my phone , changed phone as well and it's still downwards. End of this month , I'll be porting out |

Enjoy free additional midnight (12-7am) data when you subscribe to Hotlink MI Monthly RM30 (1GB) or MI Monthly RM68 (3GB) plan.

As validity 90/365 can only be subscribed by Old Hotlink plan only. We can't even chooses which plan we want when port into Maxis. Some of us wants the validity now than the free basic internet. Thanks for sharing |

All Mobile Internet data plan 1GB and above can get LTE coverage dy at covered areas under Maxis.Do SurfMore 30 provides LTE?I live in the coverage of LTE but couldn't get LTE signal. I have a Xperia SP Check http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_sp-5364.php ,which Xperia SP Model are you using? C5303 or C5306? Because Maxis only supports LTE on 1800 & 2600 frequency but C5306 model don't have these frequency. Are you using Micro SIM card or you cut the old SIM card? Old SIM card cannot get LTE coverage, must use new SIM card like the Micro or Nano SIM card |
