anybody play this game, can u connect to Shop?
i bought a few song at Music Store via Xbox Live,
but once in game i cant play that song, it said need to download GH World Tour Free Content Update at Shop..
but when i try to connect it always timed out..
yes i check my connection no problem.. i can play fifa 11 online with no problem..
been googling around and GH forum, but never find any solution..
anybody can help?

maybe you bought wrong song? or is the song only for GH:World Tour

Songs for GH:WT (including DLC) was playable in GH5 (and presumable GH:WOR) using the free content update, I would try to find it in xboxlive marketplace rather than the in game music store.

with the death of guitar hero with no more DLC coming out after april, I would suggest you spend your cash on Rock Band DLC which pwns GH DLC, which is by default compatible between titles RB1-3.

Yeah basically just look for the free GHWT patch, it shouldn't be a big deal as long as you have the memory and/or your bandwidth isn't used up(if you have one of those capped internets anyway).
Either way it's worth the download, there are quite a few GHWT DLCs that are still fun, including Death Magnetic.

I'd vouch for Kidicarus with investing in Rock Band as well, seeing as they've been at DLC for years now and show no signs of stopping, but if you've already invested heavily on GH DLC you still can't go wrong, they have a decently sized library at the moment

DLC stands for downloadable content, basically downloaded songs.
Just go to Guitar Hero 5(don't worry, it works the same) and search for the Guitar Hero World Tour DLC Patch(something along the lines of that). It's about 100MB or so, so I don't think it's a big deal

ok guys found a solution..

u cant just enter the dvd and play, u can play the game actually like normal, but cant connect to Shop..

but if u go to my library games 1st, and start the game from there then u can connect to Shop.. tried it twice and it works.. hihi..
