Added on March 9, 2011, 7:40 pmWell.. If you need to flash new ROMs on your android (Samsung Galaxy S), you need to go into download mode. Unfortunately, you might brick your SGS while flashing. If your phone is bricked, your computer will not be able to detect the phone, so SDK tools (adb codes on cmd prompt) will not work as well. There are also cases after flashing, 3 button combo maybe disabled. So this tool is used to force your phone into download mode.

1) This is a tool to get your Galaxy S into Download mode without the need of three button combo or adb tools. Also a recovery tool when your Galaxy S is bricked from flashing ROMs. Download mode is a mode for android phones to flash new roms.

2) As far as i know, there's a leak version of the Gingerbread ROM for galaxy s, however i have not tried it myself, still waiting for a proper version.

Yes, this jig will help you gain access to download mode by just plugging into your phone. PM sent!

It will not download firmware automatically, everything has to be done manually. I am sorry that i have no links to provide on this. However if you have a semi bricked device, and wants to buy this Jig from me. I have created a step by step pdf on how to flash your phone using my jig.

Hi all,
So far done these steps:-

1. Remove battery then put back after ~5s
2. Attach USB Jig to phone and wait until download mode come out.
3. Remove USB Jig.
4. Attach USB cable to flash the firmware during download mode (use odin)

The problem come out when ODIN cannot detect any device. Even i able to enter download mode using USB Jig, but i cannot flash any firmware due to HP not detected. Please help...!!

You just pm'ed yesterday for order details. How did you get your jig so fast? I have not even received payment from you. or did you make one yourself already?

Although i would like to keep my sales thread as clean as possible, but i decided to help you out here. Your problem could be,

1. You have not installed samsung kies, because they come with the drivers and ODIN need drivers to run properly.
2. Your USB port is not working.
3. Your USB cable is not working.


These are the only problem i can think of. However, i do encourage you do try the first solution which has the highest possibility for ODIN not detecting your phone.

If you have any problem or questions, just PM me. Want to keep this thread clean.
