more! more! can compare wit others like figma or revoltech?
pros and cons?

This figure overall is great, quite accurate with the X in game.
It got lots of articulations too, with this we can pose him with many poses.

Sorry, i don't have any figma ...
But this Rockman X is a bit shorter than the Rovoltech Alien.

I had updated some photos on the last thread as well.

This looks so similar to Bandai's Rockman X Mega Armor Series, if anyone knows what i'm talking about.  blush.gif

I know the Bandai Rockman X Mega Armor Series, but they were just model kits.
And they only have very "basic" articulations, so it had become a big limitation for posing them.

Unlike the new Bandai's D-Art Rockman X, this new Rockman X is an action figure with more advanced articulations, yet more high-quality if compared with the Rockman X Mega Armor Series.

the time when Bandai was generous
saw it at Parkson when I was 8 years old
how many aa available I remember the one I saw as Yellow one
I was saving for it but when came back there the item was not on the shelf anymore

I had never saw them in my places, i got them on ebay...
I have 6 of them, here they are:

Original X (Blue Plated ver)

X3 Max Armor: (self painted)

Black Zero:

3 Ultimate Armor from X4:

(left - blue plated ver, middle - half transparent armor ver, right - self painted)

I had given up to buy the other Armors from X4-X6 because of those ridiculous "high" prices on ebay...

But now i am very happy because the D-Art Zero (X1 version) will coming on the Aug/Sept 2011.
And my most wish is the Bandai could do the D-art X with the armors from X1-X6 in future...haha.

That's some Rockman collection you got there, mate.  notworthy.gif

Mind sharing some side by side pictures of the articulation of both D-Arts and Armor Series? It would really help me decide whether to pick up the D-Arts or not.  tongue.gif

The d-art is worth to buy because it's articulations, proportion, accuracy, paint job and etc are far more better then the mega armor series. The mega armor series are kind of "low cost" products, when the past time they sold at cheap prices but now all their prices on ebay are mostly been " goreng" to high...

For the comparison photos between both d-art and mega armor...pls let me have sometimes to prepare first.

Great news for me!
Is a must have figure!
Hope the bandai will continue to do the armor series on d-art from x2 to x6.

By the way, when is the release date for this full armor x1?
Thanks.

Here's some comparison, you can see the different joints between them:

The things that i am no happy with Mega Armor series:
- Some of their joints are very tight, hard to bend and pose them.
- Some parts are fragile, easy to break.
- Colors are sucks, and most parts are using the stickers to cover it.
- The sculpting is detailed but not quite accurate with original game designs.
- You need to repaint them if you want them to be accurate with game.

If you prefer high pose-able, nice coloring, good sculpting and accurate, i suggest you go to the D-arts Rockman X.
