QUOTE(goldfries @ Jun 5 2011, 03:34 PM) Someone was selling a bootleg Figma BRS in Street Mart and it became a lengthy discussion on identifying bootlegs: here. |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Jun 5 2011, 06:25 PM) i got no box to compare, haven't own any Figma. not so clever in observing paint also but the links pointing to box and joints are good ways to see. btw are Figma boxes matte or glossy? i never took note. Differs from Figma to Figma i guess. Like BRS is quite shiny but on Kamen Rider Axe it's less shiny. I posted a list of bootlegs available in the Nendoroid thread. If you're still unsure, you can check pictures of genuine Figmas here so you know how their quality should be. |

QUOTE(silentsc @ Jun 5 2011, 11:01 PM) I totally agree with this, but some boxes are so nicely designed that it's just heartbreaking to throw it away or to flatten it. QUOTE(Nichol90 @ Jun 5 2011, 11:01 PM) Why, thank you. |

QUOTE(Nichol90 @ Jun 5 2011, 11:09 PM) Flatten it. ;A; What about the clamshell plastic inside? ..although, given space issues, that's actually a pretty good idea.. Why sound so surprised? Flatten it to store and you can fold it back up when you need it. The plastic tray is thrown away. Extra parts and accessories are placed in Ziploc bags and labelled properly. Isn't this what you guys do all this while? How else would you have the space??? |

Well, it's okay for Figma and Nendoroid boxes, but if you're a statue, PVC figure, and Gundam collector like me, you don't really have a choice. Their boxes often exceed 30cm x 20cm. Some goes up to 50cm x 50cm. Big cupboards aren't big enough for me.

QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Jun 6 2011, 09:58 PM) cant brain your meaning i mean why cannot release Kallen and CC too, only Lelouch and Suzaku... not fair what Bandai, under the name Megahouse, did produce 12" Code Geass female action figures back then. They didn't want Figma to compete with them. This, you brain? That's why they only let them produce male characters. |

QUOTE(calcilis @ Jun 6 2011, 11:55 PM) Strongest? Mickey Mouse would own him! QUOTE(goldfries @ Jun 6 2011, 11:57 PM) they will have at least 5 versions of Kallen. Bunny suit and mecha fans will surely get this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(calcilis @ Jun 6 2011, 11:58 PM) His human form is a bit feminine... Teddie would be better off as a Nendoroid i think, since RD Doraemon looks kinda ugly with all the joints. |
