WOW not bad and I tot my offer is cheap.
50" 3D Plasma THP50VT20K 3D DVD Player DMP-BDT110 2 Glasses 1.5M Panny HDMI Cable 3 Blu-Ray Movies Price: 6K But I saw there's another series (S) which is also 50" Full HD 3D Plasma. The diff is this model doesn't have the isf and THX professional viewing feature. So the pricing should be lower. But no news yet on the pricing to date. QUOTE(highflier @ Jun 27 2011, 04:21 PM) Did I PM you? well FYI, it's from my friend's PannaShop over at Taipan. I think you all know bout the standard package for the 50" but he did bundled in a couple of stuff for me like the glasses. A bit tempted for the 3D cause of the Neo-Plasma tech which I heard is pretty impressive. And Panny is smart to reserve that tech for 3D for their new batch. Missed the old Plasma with Neo-Plasma but my friend can get the old unit for 7K (RSP14999) |

QUOTE(yuna1987 @ Jun 30 2011, 11:44 AM) Im considering to get these TV for my new house and have some question for TH-P50U20K and TH-P50U30. Didn't really managed to test out the WiFi capability over the U30K at the shop. But confirmed that it can't play RMVB. Sigh~! MKV no problem. I think it can't even play AVI files. But it support DiVx though. Hence it's better to just get a decent media player rather than counting on the Plasma to do so.For the older model U20K, it doesnt hav USB port and LAN port which U30K model hav? (hard to find the spec due to most of the site already remove them and replace with U30K model) For latest model U30K, how about internet connection? can i stream through my router via Ethernet connection instead of that USB wifi thingy which doesnt include in the package? beside that, do U30k support RMVB format? |

QUOTE(bzz @ Aug 2 2011, 09:41 AM) Hi all, I think anytime u saw a line any place on your plasma, better send it back to the shop since it's under warranty and it's not normal. I've got my 42U30K last Saturday. 1st dah is okay. But 1 day after that, 1 big line, about 2" thick appear on the screen. Is it a faulty unit or is it normal? Need to sent to jusco by today. Just got my 50U30K yesterday but didn't saw anything fishy yet. |

QUOTE(VeeJay @ Aug 2 2011, 09:43 AM) nope it should not be the same.....what setting to watch, is basically in your likings, I watch in true cinema is it? but the settings below is the same with most of them at mid range settings (i.e Brightness, Color, Contrast). I am now setting it on Normal for my TV viewing. Tried the same watching Avatar on 1080p 60Hz. Damn cool~! Didn't even adjust anything but I do hope that it can be better if possible. |

QUOTE(Alvy @ Aug 19 2011, 10:02 PM) May i ask any owner (TH-P42U30K) have this kinda problem where playing 1080p movie got spike? I'm using thumb drive. I'd tried using a 1080p Avatar on 2.5" HDD direct to 50U30K USB. A lot of distortion here and there. Because if I play those 720p all smooth but not 1080p or 900p. Then I used 2.5 external hd, the 900p movie smooth but still got some spike on 1080p movie. Hope anyone that can assist. Thank you. To me, the USB is still not meant for heavy used of direct movie over to Plasma. It's only for picture viewing or music but not 1080 movies although it support. Not that recommended. Hence, I got myself a media player and problem solved. Sadly that the USB doesn't support wireless keyboard/mouse. |
