QUOTE(law1777 @ Mar 11 2011, 05:10 PM) that was what i said earlier on. the v20 series is sure superb but with grey bezel really so disappointing. just make it black so simple and nice!! Agree. Have compared the Pana 50V against the Sammy C6500 plasma and Pana 50U. My personal view. The picture quality of the V is comparable with the Sammy. However the light grey bezel spoils the otherwise good set. Overall the 50V would be better with a black bezel. Although the 50U is reflective, it has a black bezel which looks better in my own opinion. Not to mention that it cost more then 1k cheaper. What a waste. The 50V with the grey bezel.

QUOTE(ckboon @ Mar 14 2011, 12:25 AM) saw carrefour selling P42x20K RM1799.. good deal? Should be quite reasonable deal provided it is not a display unit. This is HD ready and NOT Full HD. You should be able to get at this price in SS2. BTW, if you r looking for a Full HD set, Pana 42" Plasma TH-P42V20k is retailing for RM 2499. The only draw back is that this set comes in grey bezel.

QUOTE(ckboon @ Mar 14 2011, 02:07 PM) actually i am looking for a plasma which is less than RM2k, with full HD (optional) any recommendation? Doubt very much if you are able to get a full HD Plasma for less then 2k. Pana P42X28 (HD ready) is retailing for 1750. Pana's full HD are all above 2k

If your viewing distance is around 10ft, then 50" HDTV should be OK.

Latest that I saw, Pana P50V20K is selling for RM4,999 while P42V20K is RM2,499. Quite a lots of shops does not have stock any more. If you are interested, better get them before stock runs out. 2011 model coming out very soon. The new models will not be at these prices.

QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Mar 21 2011, 06:10 PM) Am looking for a samsung 32" LCD replacement for my room mostly use for gaming. However my concern is the viewing distance since right now the viewing distance for my 32" is about 6-7 feet approx. So do you think the panny plasma 42" would be ideal for my room with about 6-7 feet viewing distance? If you are going to use it mainly for gaming, you should be aware of the burn-in, IR problem which are inherent of plasma TVs. So, better take note if you using for gaming...

My brother's account was suspended because I (gisella) was said to redirect sales to his threads. We're considering moving our business out from here. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. btw he is a very reliable seller and owns a shop. many ppl bought from him directly from his shop wondering... what is wrong with that to cause his account to be suspended? Have seen some other people who promote their sales within lowyat forum
