QUOTE(VeeJay @ Mar 14 2011, 05:17 PM) I dont think it will be to much diff from V series starting price, int he range of RM6k? Then the price would slowly come down.... standard trend lah The ST, albeit a lower end of the range, is 3D capable tv compared to the V. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it starts at a V price. This post has been edited by gdee: Mar 15 2011, 01:57 PM |

I think it's because the 50" is a sweet spot size wise. So compared to the 42", it will have more unsold stock then it's popular bigger sized brother.. hence the higher price cut. supply & demand. The V series is a good plasma, don't worry!

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Apr 4 2011, 05:33 PM) anybody know if the TH-P42GT20K comes with Avatar 3D blu ray? If you buy it from a Panny authorized dealer, it should come with the Avater 3D blu ray.i tried asking a seller in garage sales but he said his model only comes with Ice Age, Coraline and a demo disc my uncle just bought the 50" model(last week) and it came free with Avatar 3D blu ray...and to my knowledge this BD is solely to be distributed with Panasonic 3DTVs/3D Bluray players..(at least for now, anyway) |

The 42X30K is going for RM1,999. I'm sure its better, but how much better, I can't really say for sure as I've never really paid detail attention to last year X20s. I looked at it briefly during my lunch break only. Dimension wise, it's not alot slimmer then the 2010 sets.

QUOTE(MoonRider @ Apr 28 2011, 11:23 AM) i think it will be good to get the same brand .. i try samsung 3d on my panasonic tv .. you can see the difference ... somemore those 3d glass need batteries .. that used for watch the bulat one. 3d glasses are not compatible between manufacturers at the moment, but they are quirky workarounds. |

QUOTE(frostbite @ Jul 4 2011, 10:30 AM) Took delivery of my 50VT20K and wanted to check on accumulated hours to date to make sure new unit. but i cant seem to find the service menu. read 1 of the earlier post which said press the volume button on the tv and press the 'info' button 3 times on the remote but there isn't any 'info' button on the remote. Can anyone provide the steps to the info on the accumulated hours to date. The 'info' button should be the recall button. Detail step hereThis post has been edited by gdee: Jul 4 2011, 05:38 PM |

Hi guys, my center channel blocks a good chunk of the bottom border of my vt20. I know there's infrared sensors around the panel borders(not sure where exactly) to sync with the 3d glasses. Just would like to know if it will affect the 3d syncing. I don't want to raise the tv more then I have to. Thanks in advance!

QUOTE(Choosen1 @ Sep 5 2011, 04:38 PM) for those who are looking for 3d tv, if possible, why not wait for a while for the bare eye 3d tv (3d without glasses)? toshiba already have it and i believe the rest will follow through.. maybe there will be some fire sales on the current 3d tv as well. like all new techs, that tv is gonna cost ~8000euros just for 55" and is only due to launch end of the year. it's picture quality is also untested. if u can wait, like LED backlit & have a fat wallet.. by all means..rgds, Added on September 5, 2011, 4:56 pm QUOTE(pltan @ Sep 5 2011, 04:32 PM) If size really matter to you, and ur viewing area allows, I'd go for a kick a*s projector with that budget This post has been edited by gdee: Sep 5 2011, 04:58 PM |
