I am interested in this model .... VIERA TH-P50V20K, but don't seem to see this model any more ??

this is year 2010 model, it has been discontinued because 2011 model is coming, consider yourself very lucky if you could still find one selling in the shop

2011 series of plasma will not have v series, only the lower spec u30 series

I find that this year is a bad year to buy Plasma or LED tvs.. I bought a P50V20k last year for 4900 and now i'm unable to get a plasma tv of that spec within the same price range. Same with samsung.. it's like they've decided to shift the whole product range lower and introduce newer models that are just about equivalent to previous year model's functionality.

Should've bought 2 sets of the p50v20k and kept one for my new apartment... zzz

I don't think 42ST30 will be avail here. Only 50 and 55in.

don't talking about 3d plasma in 2011 i think 2d plasma in 2011 model the top will be the U series, instead of U series of p42u30k it's still can't compare with p42v20k.

I believe Pana had made survey on the sales of products range last year to estimate 2011 new products lineup. Most of the sales should come from lower end products and it is not business viable to produce higher end product like V20 in year 2010.
If there is a demand for higher end product this year then Pana may introduce it in Year 2012.

Our V20 is not even high-end compared to the real V20 in EUR. It's equivalent to the G20 in EUR.

I think they found that mainstream are willing to pay up to RM6-7K at most for a TV. Anything higher, would be the elite rich or enthusiasts who's willing to fork out RM10K and above. There's no market in between.

Since they are mainstreaming 3D TVs, they have used the ST series to fit in the RM6-7K budget. The G series, unfortunately, would be given a miss, since it will cannibalize ST sales.

just bought the plasma TH-p 42GT20 (3D, plasma TV) for RM3699 today ...add RM800 (RM4499) if i want free blu ray 3D player(BDP3000).

the salesman told me is neoPDP panel, made in japan...with lower reflections... not sure whether is good or not...


but the picture do looks better compared side by side with U series..

any bro using this TV ? any comment on it ?? it is a fair pricing ?

wow,,, 42GT20 (japan)......enjoy enjoy.....

My panasonic DMP-BDT300 player cant play quite a lot of bluray disc that i bought from SS2.

some disc just hang the player, some got sound and sub-title but no picture. I even updated the firmware to the latest version (1.31) but still cant play.

Guys .. 2.2k for p42v20k good price?

If you cant find the V series (50"), might as well go with VT (yes 3D) version, since there are is a price drop. If I'm not mistaken its only about RM5200-5300

hi all, am in the market for a new 3D TV to replace my old panny and to pair it up with my recently bought dmp-bdt210 blu-ray player.

anybody know if the GT30 is in malaysia yet or is coming to malaysia? its been getting rave reviews... any recommendations on alternatives? am looking for a 50" if possible

Oh.. Is the last unit..!! If let said is display unit maybe can bargain the price.

Well, I will go there have a look. I think it's really hard to find in market now. Either will choice other model..!!
