The "Features" section stated THX Certified Display, but it indeed do not have THX Mode as stated in their "Specifications" section. 

Hi Mickey C, as I said above, this model does not have THX Mode, but the display panel is THX Certified.
Please take note of Mode vs. Certified and you will not be confuse on this anymore. 

THX Mode is something like Vivid Mode, Cinema Mode etc... it's about picture quality settings.

Go for the biggest you can afford.  My experience is minimum 50".  Now I realise 50" is not big enough.  Same for all my friends who bought 42" and say its enough.  Now they all realise its small.

I shall go to the Panny Shop in SS2 and verify the price... The price is damn tempting....

Got one info  from a friend , 42GT is around 4000 free BRP and 1 specs while 50 is VT NOT GT model around 6000 with BRP and 2 specs ~!

i got cheated by a shop, ordered P50V20K + PWP digi-cam,
both item they sent = used
the plasma got serious burn in w/ Discovery HD logo and top-bottom black bar,
+ running time 850+ hr upon reaching me
then the digi-cam warranty seal broken,  color doesn't match the box, battery hilang...
wtf i right now tiao their store manager and ask for full refund,
then buy from elsewhere
will disclose the shop name once i settle my thing

p/s: not to mentioned their dishonest but they also selling expensive..

call panasonic immediately, complain to them that you got a demo set

OMG Pls let us know where !! I am giving up here  !! In Johore the best and last is RM7000 Igot with only one specs and I am stiil waiting.............. if 5800 I wl take it right away !!

7000 was the last price I got  with one specs and BRP !!

I cant make it fill up the whole screen. The titles do not have this feature

U can see the 'screen grid effect' on the X series.

Panny is notorious for using poor quality panels for the X series. It's not even 720p, don't let the marketing fool u.

I think Sammy and Lg's HD ready panels are better than panny's.

You mean, 50" VT is now RM5K+ now? 

I once said one day, the 65" will be RM7K and some disagreed. Now it look more than possible a year or 2 down the road.

Just bought the 50" vt20k come with 3pcs 3d glass, skype camera, 2 pcs 3d bluray disc and a bluray player bdt110. Price 6199. Is it a good deal? Delivering next week.

Understand the plasma need to burn in around 100hrs? Need help, for the burn in steps.
