I do listen to symphonic metal (Nightwish, Therion, Kamelot, Rhapsody to name a few) and Goth metal (Lacuna Coil). But I still prefer power/epic metal songs like those from Blind Guardian or Virgin Steele compared to pure symphonic because they're faster and more 'trashy'. Oh yeah, if you're into symphonic metal, give the Trans Siberian Ochestra a try. Interesting stuff imo.

As for Doom metal, the only band that I listen to is Cathedral. But only casually since I'm not a big fan of the genre.

That's more symphonic to me..too bad heard from Nuclearblast that Therion might be disbanded.....     Long Live Christofer Johnsson!!

What other female fronted goth/metal bands out there that is nice other than Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Leaves Eyes, Theatre of Tragedy, Arch Enemy, Evanescence, The Sins Of Thy Beloved and Kittie?

thy r not from sarawak rite??... they rarely played in local gig... usually can see them playing at indonesia or bangkok.... last time i watch they perform at my friends gig at paul place...they hv their own crowd n thier own mosh pit style.. so damn ganas.."haa..sapa berani masuk...
