The Thinkpad Edge e120 looks suspiciously similar, if not identical, to the Thinkpad x121e, the new and not so popular revision to the x120e. The only difference seems to be the silver piping along the lid edge for the e120.

Some pics of the x121e, e120, and e320:

First look video of the e120:

On the lenovo malaysia site, you'll now see the e120 i3 option AS WELL an e120 AMD image but no details:

So for those of you, like me, who have been eyeing the x120e/x121e, i suspect what we will be getting instead is the e120 series instead, with the option for intel or amd inside. My only concern is that the video in the link above states that the e120 gets the new Intel HD graphics 3000, but the lenovo product link just mentions the hd graphics without the 3000.

At the end of the day, the whole i3 vs e350 arguments come down to price, what you can afford, and what you really need. RM1800 for the i3-based e120? How about RM1500 (estimated) for the upcoming e350 based x121e? Personally, I'd like to go for a lightly used x120e from the US, which can be had for around RM1200 or slightly less.
