is servicing at Proton Service Centre really that expensive?
My dad has been scolding me for letting them to change all those lubricants during major service...

it's more expensive to service at SC
but u can exclude the not neccesary one...like window washer and the what NASA thingy
u can say u dn't want this and that...ask them to untick it

somehow i feel that we're paying our warranties thru the highly leveraged spare parts and lubricant charges...

abit of that too
if parts faulty.....as long as it's not wear and tear product
they will change it for free
the parts and lub is abit expensive only that market price
it's the labour charges that they charge very expensive in SC
outside only RM10-20...in SC is RM50(minor)/RM100(major)

yo, i've got a question, how you all start your car? how long to wait after turn to the 1st stage? and how u all stop the car? can the car directly turn off without waiting?

turn ur key to 'on' position and wait for at least 5s before start to ensure '1 start'...

Hear ur whether the fan is spinning, if still spinning, wait until it stop to cool down the engine before turn off, dun worry it won't cost u forever.
