QUOTE(khiat999 @ Mar 16 2011, 01:18 AM) pros out there pls advise...SOS... now, since you have already change the exhaust setting, the ecu might need time to adapt. during this period, maybe air/ fuel ratio becomes rich. i've change to 4-2-1 plus mid bullet and a muffler last week... then i pump ron95 RM50 and ran 380km.... but few days ago, i found the muffler noise too loud and add another bullet to silence it... and it did reduce noise... but i found out tht few days ago i pump another RM50 same brand of petrol and ran only about 330km.... wht actually happen? did tht extra bullet actually ate up my petrol... although i felt tht the urge of power is not tht strong as the previous 1 bullet... but the power is still acceptable leh.... mine is mt saga fl..... pls pls pls..... anyone knows? if really is tht 2nd bullet ate up my petrol then i gonna exterminate it leh.... cos my main aim is to save FC... HELP!!! Added on March 16, 2011, 2:26 ammine exhaust set up is 4-2-1, 2 bullets and a s-flow muffler, my saga FL is manual transmission, did i get it wrong? manual use straight flow muffler? too many bullets (2)? really sad about this issue makes me awake... help... another thing i need to know where is your o2 sensor is located now. well usually when you mod your car, especially in performance related, you will become heavy footer..so this might be the reason also..hehe drive it like you used to, then check the fc again This post has been edited by xshiro: Mar 17 2011, 01:06 PM |

QUOTE(azam_halim @ Mar 21 2011, 04:51 PM) about servicing, the service booklet have column for 10000km, 20000km, 30000km...and so on every 10000km. does it means that there is no need to do every 5000 as normally done with other cars? u guys service every 10000 or 5000?..is it ok if i do every 10000 only? but the proton service centre put on sticker next service is the next 5000... for proton record is every 10k, but normally, 5k interval you need to change just engine oilThis post has been edited by xshiro: Mar 21 2011, 06:39 PM |

first, you need to consider the position of the fuel pump, its not absolutely at the bottom of the tank, if the fuel pump cant suck the left over fuel at the bottom then you cant fill 40liter, the actual tank capacity

QUOTE(l3iTi @ Mar 23 2011, 01:48 PM) This might be make sense...but the car need around 5 litre to to be able to suck up bro, drive till your fuel tank empty is never good, this will make the fuel pump becomes hot and burnt. fuel is needed to cool down the fuel pump also...it could be a protection for the fuel pump, the ecu refuse to start engineI was on the way to fill up petrol, but unfortunately, not enough to reach petrol station End up I go to petrol station fill in 1.2 litre petrol to feed the car...but not enough to start the engine...so need to feed in another 1.2litre...then only able to start engine, n bring my car directly to petrol station and pump another 33+ petrol... This is to inform u all, if this happens to u, remember to feed 2 liter + petrol...haha.... This post has been edited by xshiro: Mar 23 2011, 01:56 PM |
