Just the auto lock system with installation should be around Rm80-150, to change new alarm system about rm300 for local made brand, Rm450+ for 2way alarm system. Rm1000+ for branded 2 way alarm system. Currently i m using SPY 2 way alarm for my car, so far just not satisfy the remote control because build in battery.

why is the installation so untidy?

Be aware the strip will melted under hot sun.

If want to do, do it in right way, car sound proof got its own material. I did DIY for 4 doors and boot, if u want i can share you picture here.

1 month ago, saw u so excited to wait for ur car.

1st move wax ur door handle area to make it shy, u post pic,

2nd move dampening ur bonnet with superlon, u post pic,

then follow by soundproof ur door with bitumen strip, u post pic as well

and then problem start to come 2 weeks ago,

1st clucth kong,

then rear drum brake jam as well,

now end up with accident with alot of pics

So sorry for you ericmaxman. You've had a bad couple of weeks. Most important thing is you're safe and you can claim his insurance. Just get your own trusted workshop, slowly fix and replace with brand new parts, and claim the bugger.
Because accident wasn't hard enough. Airbags should only deploy if accident hits with sufficient force and damage hits a certain part of car.

@ericmaxman the air bag will normally deploy if the impact is hard on the lower portion of the front crumple zone......
