QUOTE(rajivshm @ May 15 2011, 11:42 AM) when i went to tint my car, the salesman recommended me a protection lock, he said if put a ruler inside the rubber between the side window n door, can unlock the door. he was asking me to put someting for rm180 to protect that. is this true? is proton really stupid to not look at that hole ?? can anyone advice me? thankss yes i did mine too. my sales assistant said that was optional, but prevention is better. he even demonstrated how the lock could not be opened with the hook. i tried it myself, i couldn't open the lock frm outside. i did mine for rm268. @@ QUOTE(lesliechan19 @ May 15 2011, 01:49 AM) fresh SAGA FL owner here. 1.3 AT Metallic Black Executive So far any SAGA FL owner have any problem with their own FL? nearly had an accident in putrajaya last night. was still wondering, does the new FL have ABS? both my tyres locked and the car still skidded forward all the way. slam brake from 120 straight to zero, managed to stop before crashing into a hill, like 30-40m infront of my car.

QUOTE(pravred @ May 30 2011, 03:32 PM) i have a doubt about blm auto max speed,i have seen videos can go untill 180 but lately i tried my car can only reach 160 at most 163,after 2 years i think my engine performance gone already. they stated for FL's max speed is 155. i personally went 165 before. AT. it sometimes depend on the road condition whether is sloping upwards or downwards. and well, the max speed is normally an estimate. also consider passenger weight in the car. when i accelerate to 63km+, i can hear like some serious air suction sound if not mistaken from the aircond there, then when i hit 80km/h the aeroplane sound starts. shouldn't it start at 85? or the meter is just inaccurate?

QUOTE(zeone @ May 31 2011, 03:25 PM) I used Bardahl 1 previously cos was impressed by local tests run in presence of local journalists & AAM! B 1 added to engine oil of test cars & then run for a short time and drained of all oil. 1 test was return trip fr KL to Bkt Kayu Hitam (hope correct). 2nd run fr KL return trip to Genting. Cars in test made runs safely home! Dun think any other oil treatments did similar tests locally. Pls correct me if wrong. TQ. Later I chose Mobil 1 full-syn cos of proven test of 1 million miles(?) then engine was stripped & immeasurable wear & tear on bearings! ps. Now too poor 2afford Mobil 1... Times hv changed! Haha! Added on May 31, 2011, 3:35 pmOf course there is! Do take yr car to nearest SC & make a complaint/claim since still under warranty... thanks. was thinking if there was a manual way instead of sending to SC

QUOTE(zeone @ May 31 2011, 05:45 PM) Yup, that's the way to confirm if that feature is working or not. I'd assumed that our fren, Aishinka, had oledi tried it & it did not work... Frankly every new car owner shld sit down for enuf time to read thru the User's Manual that is provided upon delivery of the new car. Then one shld try out each & every feature available to confirm all are in working order...except for the airbags, of course! Haha! It's time very much worth spending....IMHO... ps. One shld apply same to any new gadget one buys...hehe... Yeap, tried that before. Was washing my car, with door closed, car unlocked. key in pocket. It didnt lock at all :/.. I read through the manual like tons of time ( my personal 'story book' when i'm waiting for people ). Forgot to lock my car when i went into a friend's house before. Came out 1 hour after, and surprisingly the door wasn't locked.

QUOTE(ka_one2000 @ Jun 4 2011, 01:10 PM) i thought full tank is free (from SA that is).... well , i got mine with full tank..... it depends on the SA, some will give, some wont. mine didnt. just had rm5 filled inside. and the worst part was, in order to park at the showroom, you have to pass through a shell & petronas petrol station -.-
