QUOTE(monza84 @ Mar 12 2011, 09:42 PM) Go to bootloader, 1. Take out battery & then put back in 2. Hold volume down button & press power button 3. Bootloader appear, choose recovery and press power button 4. walla, you are in CWM mode Added on March 12, 2011, 9:44 pmYes, from ROM Manager, you can actually go directly to recovery menu with just a click of the menu ...flashing from recovery means that you flash the zip files from recovery menu ..though optionally you can flash with ROM Manager T.T no use...

i have just done S-OFF following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841076"2) Install engineering version of HBOOT to get S-Off 2.1) Download sfjuocekr DHD script for flashing HBOOT from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=8357462.2) Unzip it and copy it to Your SDCard (It's important that You have on Your SDCard root directory with name DHD and all files inside this directory. Rename DHD-smart folder on Your SDCARD to DHD. 2.3) Run Terminal Emulator 2.4) Type su 2.5) Type "sh /sdcard/DHD/check (Please be aware that You have to type "sh" in front of command) 2.6) If everything went OK type sh /sdcard/DHD/backup 2.7) If this also went OK proceed with sh /sdcard/DHD/hboot This command will install engineering hboot which have S-Off turned off." but the S-OFF is ENG S-OFF or Radio S-OFF or BOTH?

QUOTE(koinibler @ Mar 12 2011, 11:34 PM) I do believe, by following this method you're already ENG S-OFF. You better check it on your bootloader (-vol + power) , and while there might check your CID too! CID-HTC_044...what does it means? i saw AVE PVT ENG S-OFF...so u r right... how about Radio S-OFF? how to check and refer to? This post has been edited by winter-X: Mar 13 2011, 04:17 PM

QUOTE(Atsutane-Shirane @ Mar 12 2011, 11:24 PM) @winter-X This is the guide i was talking about that making people confuse because of the too many step... Seriously for the love of GOD xda should delete that guide... First do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857537That will give you Radio S-Off Second do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=855403This will give you ENG S-Off Requirement... HTC Sync Or ADB Driver... ya,its quite confusing...but i already done all the steps leh... and i did try the Radio S-OFF GUIDE u give...but got connection problem so i give up dy... any method to check RADIO S-OFF? i'm quite sure i did my ENG S-OFF dy...(check in bootloader)...

QUOTE(monza84 @ Mar 13 2011, 04:20 PM) @winter-x Your CID is HTC_044?? Meaning that you haven't done fully Radio S-Off yet ...check the FP post no 8, choose the Radio S-Off tool..when you run the tool, make sure you choose all the available option (iinm, Unlock + SuperCID + Radio S-Off)...you should have CID with the number 11111 (this is universal CID) Added on March 13, 2011, 4:21 pmInstalled HTC Sync??...then just choose Charge Only when you run Radio S-Off oh,okay...thanks ya... but i still get error like laz time...althought this tool is diff with the 1 in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857537... unknown error, probably connection... i had choosen charge only... waiting for ur futher instruction...^^
