Well, battery on CM is quite good now with battery fix kernel, before can only last 20 hours with CM, but now can get till 30~36 hours single charged

Nope, SENSE can only use SENSE kernel, CM7 kernel is for Vanilla based ROM (AOSP)

..what radio are you using..me also on WiFi 24/7, call & SMS, music at least 2 hours per day ..can last me @35 hours

Some update for CM7 users

Battery Fix Kernel #7

Build #7 contains Kali's latest kernel plus the 2 patches from hrkfdn about the aic3254 dsp chip. no other tweaks involvled to keep testing simple.

**just flash this .zip file from recovery. reflash it each time you installed a new nightly build. #6 and newer contain a cleanup-function to remove older versions from system. not only the files, but also the entries in custom_backup_list.txt will be removed automaticly.

Known Issues in #7

- First feedback reports say, activating voice search once after first call is needed. After that (hopefully) never again.
- You find suspend/resume loops in dmesg output. They are harmless, but should be removed in a later version.
- Installing #7 tells you its #6 you are installing in recovery - ignore this typo!

You might want to check the WiFi sleep policy...

Setting > Wireless & networks > WiFi setting > Press Menu & then Advanced > WiFi sleep policy (this one choose Never)

Well, if yours are stock with rooted privilege then i dun think its wise to update as updating it will spoilt your root access ...but if yours are stock unrooted, just update it then

Been months and yet not rooted ..i guess you can use the update
