thanks alot!!, yea, will flash 1.3.11, just wonder do i need to flash radio as well ? my first time, nervous...tongue.gif

edited: er, how to apply the patch ar? sorry, noob here
*
after flash rom, you can monitor battery and signal whether ok or not.. but if you feel not quite good, can flash other radio.. smile.gif
you want to flash 1.3.11 is it..? then no need to flash that battery drain patch because new version already include with that patch..

for i/o patch, just put the file at root of your file explorer and boot into CWM --> install zip from sdcard --> find zip file and flash it..

but after you've done flashing ROM, don't flash patch at the same time.. you need to reboot phone first then boot into CWM back.. smile.gif

Nope, those custom rom are fully utilizing the custom kernel & radio that is recommended with it...though flashing custom kernel over your stock rom, maybe would increase the battery life a bit but still, not as affective as flashing it together with custom rom smile.gif

owh... okok thx i shall wait my battery charge full first then i flash flex.gif

What's your budget anyway?? hmm.gif..well, DHD is one of the best android phone there is, but battery life is not that impressive (stock rom lasted for 24 hours top)..as for SGS, the main problem would be the lagness (before you applied the lagfix)...others are not that impressive (same boat of phones that is)...

Why not try and look at the newer ones like :

1. Motorola Atrix
2. Samsung Nexus S

Others?? Dunno LOL...

since we should transfer both file manually, i don't see why you the file name should be different.
just make sure you connect it to your pc, not just through astro.

btw, its optional, you still can root and flash without a problem without it!

Yes, from ROM Manager, you can actually go directly to recovery menu with just a click of the menu smile.gif...flashing from recovery means that you flash the zip files from recovery menu smile.gif..though optionally you can flash with ROM Manager smile.gif
