Guys,

Usually after I sync my Facebook contacts (Settings -> Accounts and sync -> Facebook -> Sync contacts), all the contacts will reflect their latest Facebook photos and status.

but this has stopped working since last week. all the contacts will only show latest Facebook photos but not status.

my girl friend's SGS also has the same problem. is it just me?

I thought there is announcement ? Google dropping the sync FB due to bcoz FB want to have the contact in cloud, not sync to the mobile phone itself

Mine still can sync ..bcoz just updated at setting then I saw status my friend on fb that his posting 4 hours earlier. .

This happens to many people. Not only cannot sync. Widgets not updating as well. Just browse the facebook app page on android market. Tons of users complaining....

Ya loo...the Widget not updated bcoz I saw the latest post is 8 hours ago..bcoz I don't put fb widget on my home screen ...

haiyo.. die la liek this.. no more FB updates on contacts...

I think its because we updated the facebook app.

Just delete the account and re-add again.
I helped my friend figure out why her Wildfire stop updating FB after updating to Froyo. Turns out that it was able to after removing and re-add the account again.

i think my fb work fine..
