hye all. regarding to the topic, i have a problem that my mobo wont boot, just stuck at post screen. this happen after i try to OC my phenom2 945. i just increase the fsb to 240, it work fine with ram at 960mhz (this is ddr2 mobo). then i try to tighten the timing. so i set to default fsb (200), ram at 800Mhz, but with tighter then default timing 5-5-5-18 (6-6-6-24 at default if i'm not mistaken)
but then, my mobo wont boot at all. so i just clear the cmos. by doing that, then it just stuck at post screen which only allow me to configure the bios setting once. but after clear cmos many time, still the mobo stuck at post screen for the first time, after tweak setting at bios, it will go blank screen at all.
i've try my ram at other cpu, and my ram is not faulty. what can i do. please help me....
this is my spec phenomII X4 945 team elite ddr2 800 2GbX2 ST56F psu ati 4850 1tb WD green mobo : giga M750 SLi DS4
is it my mobo dead? bout from other forumer last month. the condition of mobo during purchase is just back after RMA. please everybody outhere help me

oredy done it for too many time. still, it only stuck at post screen. if i hit F1, it can boot to windows but with everything is default setting. after a restart, it will go blank at all, it wont boot.
everytime after clear cmos, it will stuck at post screen. yes, i can enter the bios (by hitting DELETE button) because it'll stuck at post screen. it just give me 2 option : hit DELETE to enter bios or hit F1 to continue.

the mobo is bought from other forumer here, and it just back from RMA before i purchase. if mobo faulty, then i have to buy new mobo instead of waiting RMA. then suggest me a mobo with RM300 budget. thans for your respons

QUOTE(kuntawakaw @ Mar 8 2011, 04:03 PM) wait..cant understand ur situation u clear cmos sure u have to hit f1.. but, if u not clearing ur cmos.. like just load default, restart...will the problem persist? default pls.. no oc 1st if not clear cmos, then only blank screen without any beep sound. means, it didnt boot at all. only black blank screen. that Y i do clear cmos to make it boot, but only stuck at post screen. if i restart normally by hitting restart switch, the problem still same. it wont boot at all, only show black blank screen.. of cos no OC bro. even after entering bios, it will freeze after the system going to restart (only blank screen). that y i hit the F1 instead DELETE button cloudwan : this mobo have vga onboard, so need to take out the GC?

problem solved. after googling, i found somewhere said to reset the cmos, than let the pc start for 2 minutes. they said, this is to make the mobo apply the 2nd bios. the dual bios really save me. thanks for all. now its working perfect just like before This post has been edited by lengchai86: Mar 9 2011, 07:20 AM
