I bought few Beats from local store. Yes the price is a bit pricey, but i consider it as the warranty price. I have sent my powerbeats few times, I think I change it like 4 times (due to microphone and controller issue). No issue as long as I bring my receipt and warranty card, Hwee Seng just test, and change it one to one, no question ask.

You can buy from Amazon or somewhere else, yes you get it cheaper, but you might be having problem with the warranty. Well, I never have problems with my Solo HD so far. So you might wanna risk it.
