Hi there, just an info on what I known.  Whatever function that HP did with free gift-away, we, as authorized distributor, are/will not be informed as this is a partnership of HP and Beats themselves.  Monster did not inform me on what is going on for anything related with HP and Beats.  Only at the moment on what I know is that purchased HP laptop with free Beats Solo will be entitled for warranty of 1 year, provided that customer can prove with receipt of purchase of the particular laptop.  I would advise the first thing a customer should do in any case of faulty set is to refer back to HP.  That's the best I can say right now on matter related to HP.
