i don't think the fake ones are that good in terms of SQ, the one i tried last time isn't sharp at all.
i own a beats studio nw and the sound really crisps.
fake ones are no where near the original SQ

you can key in your serial on the beats website to check.
but I'm not 100% sure its accurate, because according to Vistic last time you can enter any serial and it will allow you to register
