The Beats headphone prices has revised lower drastically effective from 1 July 2012.

So, I think it's a good time to buy it now with local warranty.

I bought few Beats from local store. Yes the price is a bit pricey, but i consider it as the warranty price. I have sent my powerbeats few times, I think I change it like 4 times (due to microphone and controller issue). No issue as long as I bring my receipt and warranty card, Hwee Seng just test, and change it one to one, no question ask.

You can buy from Amazon or somewhere else, yes you get it cheaper, but you might be having problem with the warranty. Well, I never have problems with my Solo HD so far. So you might wanna risk it.

ya i agree on you on that no product is perfect but broke down up to 4 times it's like the quality check has it's problem already

Hello, i wanna ask those Beat Studio owner here:

1) Is all Monster beats product from HWEE SENG original?
2) Which one is the official serial number for Monster Beat studio use to register the product online or printed on the receipt? the 10digits one(usually printed on the headband) or the 7digits one(on the battery cap)?
3) Is it normal that the Monster Beat Studio have a 2 different serial number? one on the battery cap and another one on the headband?

I bought a beats solo from Lankawi reseller for RM399 few days ago. After 2 days the control talk volume button is not working. The box say one year warranty and there is a booklet inside which says "Quick start guide and warranty". Is it possible for me to get a replacement or any other way to solve the problem. It looks original as well

yeah can register online..But apparently even fakes can be registered which is a big downfall in the beats website..

If you bought from non-authorised dealer, you will not get Hwee Seng warranty claims.

Therefore, your unit may be counterfeit or defective oversea unit.

You are lucky that only the CT cable is faulty. You can buy from me the replacement CT cable.

Solo HD used to be selling @ RM1180. Now is RM790. And people still buy from non authorised reseller.

Almost every week, I get forumer PM me on the warranty claims issue or to check whether they bought the genuine unit or not.
