standard marketing gimmick to push for newer model

i have a question.

recently my boyf bought a Galaxy SL phone from his friend.
supposedly we trust his friend not to sell us AP set but i do have my doubts since he said he registered the phone but my boyf never receive the sms.

how to check if the phone is registered?
and what can i do if the phone is not registered?
worse case scenario, if he really did get an AP set, how do i confirm it?

step 1: check the serial number (imei) on the phone and on the box
step 2: u should have the SME warranty card (size of a name card)

Added on July 28, 2011, 11:29 ami cut and paste OR try to fwd a very very long SMS, but the phone messge pop up - "multimedia message has reached its limit " and the long sms has been truncated.

it's not a MMS in the first place.

pls advise

okay.. if now the phone is ORI set but how do i check if it's registered?

Just follow the previous post instruction, and I can guarantee it's REAL SL! lol

i too waiting for SMS as i got my phone 2 weeks ago

need to wait cos samsung receives hundreds of these warranty form every day

hence, best buy from a shop lar (long term) and get the receipt

i'm using 8gb class 10. just enough to install application.

ya, i selected Samsung Kies

maybe a question for u, have tried hooking up ur SL to PC and use Kies? able to transfer files and check for firmware updates?

i'm just buy this phone, but, i want to asked something, the installation for papago, garmin, etc are not included with the price i buy this phone. is it reasonable? \

saya beli rm 1158 tidak termasuk install papago or garmin , and have to add rm 40 for garmin installation
