Samsung Offers Android 2.3 'Gingerbread' Upgrade for GALAXY S and GALAXY Tab

Ltd., a global leader in Android™ mobile devices, today announced the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) upgrade to the Samsung GALAXY S, GALAXY Tab, and GALAXY Ace/Gio/Fit/mini, giving users enhanced performance and an improved user interface.

The GALAXY S and GALAXY Tab are Samsung's intelligently designed smart devices with 1 GHz application processors, giving users an intuitive, immersive and integrated mobile experience.

The upgrade from Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.3 offers an even greater user experience, with features including:

· Faster Performance – Multimedia content now has a lower CPU consumption rate, while support for more powerful 3D Graphics enables an enhanced mobile gaming experience.
· Upgraded Usability – The user interface has been improved, enabling faster access and control and a more intuitive user experience. Users will also benefit from improved copy-and-paste functionality.

if to wait for new model...u be ended up forever waiting...

first SGS SL, then SGS Plus la...

then u might again think why dun SGS 2 la...

after that,... u think again better wait for Iphone 5 la...

then again u duno wait for wat phone la...
so in the end u still didnt get anything....after few years of waiting.....

Are u sure about that?

Let me give u a good example.
Do u see people complains about having minor issues on high end phones such as the Iphone 4?
Do u see people claim issues about the GPS, Wifi, battery, random heatups problems on it? Think again..
As a matter of fact, there are mostly great feedbacks from the majority which they share apps to improve or to further enjoy it rather than complaining...

As for Galaxy SL,
Those minor problems should be rectified even BEFORE the production and not AFTER it.
The thing about user experience is, u pay ur hard earn money to buy a product and u want that product to perform at its best, is that really hard to get?

I understand that u pay for what u get, but Samsung offers lower price tag for Galaxy SL is due to its HARDWARE downgrade, such as the screen and GPU and NOT the minor issues which the end users have to bear with. 

Making a good phone is not just about hardware specifications, software optimization, quality control and user experience are what it all takes to bring out satisfaction.

Hello, r u having trouble with dogs?
I'm just pointing out what a phone company should do which is to rectify problems BEFORE production, not just only phones ANY products should be. It is part of quality control.
U do know that it spells trouble for one company to make product that are faulty right after production.
Hence what i said, Its BETTER to minimize or avoid mistakes as much as possible before the development.

As far as Galaxy S series is concerned, it still have a lot to catchup in software management
but given a mid ranged price tag, some defects could be neglected.
Apple offer 1 on 1 exchange is great practise if that is true, I doubt Samsung even capable of offering such service.

Wondering... would it get dirty easily ah? Like, become yellowish...
