Guys why does digi keep deducting credit from my girl friend's phone once she turn on packet data?Previously she turn it off because for no apparent reason it deducts money because of internet usage.But she said that she did not use WAP or online using the phone but online when connected to wifi then she does.

What apps could be sucking credit from her phone or updating stuff without her knowing?Anyone one of you having similiar problems?Need help asap.Thanks

But, b4 that, which software u trying to update? Or the phone's software?

U can try to change these settings and test if it works... Do give feedback here and share with others if it works...
Go to ur Settings->Account and sync-> is the Background data ticked? if not tick it and try...

Ano 1, I dun think wud help, bt can try, Settings->Applications-> Unknown sources, tick it if not ticked... Mayb the software u trying to update is from unknown sources? But if it's downloaded from market, thn tht shudn't b the case...

I successfully updated the apps lota times already....

If u're toking abt the phone's software/firmware update, I din use the phone directly to check for updates... I used Samsung Kies... whn it was DXKB2, it stated it's the latest firmware... Thr's no updates at the moment, so thr's no point trying....
I flashed to XXKB3, tht's y it stated tht the current firmware is non-upgradable...

hye guys...i didnt go through all pages but before i buy this fone i would like to noe if this fone will 'eat up' ur credit even if u dun make calls or sms?

only happens once,, but the reason is because i drop some food on top on the screen. might be unrelated case.

sometime the sensitivity like degrade abit(normally after 100hour+ of usage it will become like that). i also dunno why.So every 4-5 days i restart my phone once.
