How come your built-in RAM is 768MB? Mine has about 478 MB only. How did you manage to get so much RAM, bro? I'm jealous
If I let Froyo manage the applications, my battery charge drains very fast! Sometimes, less than a day all gone! It also gets hot. That's why I use Task Manager to close applications before I put it on standby. I don't know if the applications restart on standby..but if you swipe the screen to restart it..2 - 3 applications (the basic file browsing appks?) will restart again

Added on May 18, 2011, 10:40 amI was watching the Korean drama "Smile Again" and I noticed that the main characters, esp Saewa, Mrs Kim, Anna, seem to be using Samsung phones (Galaxy S?). The "large" phones looked great when they were using them. Saewa's ring tone is also unique...I want!

It seems that most companies roll out their products without sufficient QC. Look at Apple's products when they are launched. Always reports of defects. It seems the latest iPad 2 has light leakage problems on its screen. Read the thread on ipad2 in this forum. The iPhone 4 still has problems with its built-in antenna if you happen to close your fingers over two small slots on both sides of the phone. Apple is trying to rush the production line to get the phones quickly to consumers. Even my new Myvi has a defective clutch which caused my car to break down in the middle of the highway, dislodged front wheel drive shaft which happened suddenly and brought my car to a stop in again the middle of the highway, defective rear sensor which caused me to back into a cement block....what more the Galaxy SL. Mine rebooted a few times when I pressed the Home button to activate the screen, got very hot when making a call and the battery power lasted less than a day on standby! Samsung substituted the AMOLED screen for the SC-LCD capacitive touchscreen in the Galaxy SL because, it seems (according to internet sources) that they are running out of stock to equip their next model with the AMOLED screen. So, we are being short changed as the SL is a downgrade from the original Galaxy S. Such attitude on the part of companies suck! They don't care about consumer satisfaction!

I use cleaning fluid meant for my spectacle lenses, galaxy screen and ipad screen. Buy from any optician's shop. Spray on and wipe with soft tissue. Works for me.

If you return within the same day (or even after two days, like mine) I don't see why you cannot get a replacement if you have a good reason. Unless your hp shop has some issues. I buy mine from my regular hp seller in Carrefore Subang Jaya and they gave me a new phone after mine kept rebooting and became hot each time I made a call. It's best to check thoroughly before buying but sometimes you cannot check everything. Good luck!

Anyone have problems connecting to bluetooth earphone devices? I cannot connect to my Jabra bluetooth ear phone. Any suggestions?

Found out why I couldn't pair my Jabra bluetooth earphone to my i9003..I had already paired it to my Nokia E72 and X6. Just needed to reset the Jabra and now it has paired normally with my i9003.
