I think the later if working outside malaysia. More like getting overseas allowance hence the basic should not be built into it.

Daniel.N Amel.  7K ( no inflation adj) is really not that much. Remember? Malaysia going to get average USD15k by 2020 soon.

Need also consider none monetory as well,  job security, example the feel good working with NGO group and etc.

Many people a bit shit about the bond like this. Like kind of "slave agreement"

when i start working, i get 1.5k for the first 6 months, after that revised to 1.9k. another 3 months later, revised to 3k.

23- 1.5k-3k
24- 4.5k-5k
25- 6k+
26- 8k+
27- 9k+
28- 11k.

maybe the figure can motivate some ppl that first pay cheque not really that crucial, what important is the job itself can gain valuable experiences.

I've work with one ONG operators during my early days, and the HR manager thought our salary is way too high, which is obviously is not true since most of us come from different operators and we know what our industry paid us normally.
So yeah, some HR didnt do their homework (obviously am not pointing at you    ).

recently got offer as asistant manager, salary rm5.5k/ month with 2 month  fix bonus, interest housing and car loan also partially subsidized, free personal insurance as well. after probation, salary adjustment in between 5-10%. is it ok to accept this job cause my current job only got basic 3.2k-3.3k after increment on this december....hard to make decision...cause new job is totally start from zero...but they provide training to me......working in pharmaceutical sales line, must achieves the target all the time, afraid 1 day the target is too high for me to touch...then how?? quit or not quit?? pls advise me what to do??

Well, who says O&G's start pay >3k?
Different positions have different salary range.

Previously there was a forummer here who was earning 2.5k in O&G industry, and with few years of experience.
So, in short again; O&G doesn't really guarantee good pay sometimes.
