Wow 3.8k for fresh grads? I didn't know consultants get paid that much!

Yes, SharePoint is good career beside SAP, in fact most enterprise industry using SharePoint and they need someone who is familiar and expert to work with them.

well for normal user like me...sharepoint is used to share all your documents with your team or colleagues..it's also can be said as content management..it's like a central site for everyone to update the reports etc with a single click..something like that

what he said is like wad an end user can be done in sharepoint. For the sharepoint developer, they can customise a lot on the sharepoint. Nowadays, a lot company was using dis as online kpi or project management.

currently if i'm not mistaken not so many ppl doing sharepoint development..that's why can get quite a good figure..even my company also is still searching for sharepoint engineers eventhough there are already a number of engineers inside the company.. perhaps they are expanding so the demand is there
