My advised, find your company competitor and at the same time retain the good relationship u built with your customer.
After secured a deal of employment from your boss's competitor, talked to your boss abt ur benefits and wages issue. If he brush you off, then you should ditch him together with customer to your new boss. He'll feel the pain that time, but is too late.
However, u just spent 6 months in that company, be patient a little bit more until u are the substantial contribute fellow to your company. By that time, you can jump. Or even set up own business after you have settle down.
Remember, people like you working in sales industry, must never release your care of your customer to your boss. You use company money to take care of customer. Make friends with them. Then, when u move, customer will move along with you because they simply trust you than your boss.
