i would like to know, are they going to pay employees based on their CGPA? or just as long as you got a degree cert than it will the same for those who is also a fresh grad with same degree cert in the same company same job title?

Mostly no, but some yes.

Many big companies only hires 2nd Upper or 1st class fresh graduates. If u aims for big companies, then CGPA is important.
You may ask is big companies pay better? the answer is yes and no. Some really pay u well, some jz pay u the standard market rate.

Erm.. maybe CGPA is not important for ur field.

For me, I prefer higher salary because I believe I am a good employee. tongue.gif
I already work very hard during my internship and the boss told me that he willing to pay more to hire a better employee.

Eg. RM3000 to hire a good employee is better than hire 2 employees with RM2000. This is the boss told me.

I went through some of the earlier posts, and I am quite sure if I am the employer, I will not be employing Dhivyamaaran Anparasan. He might be someone who is damn smart, can study actuarial science, know all the facts about actuarial science and can earn big bucks, but there's something wrong with the attitude. I honestly don't think he will go far with that attitude.

Please prove me wrong.

Tips: Maybe putting your name here is not a good suggestion. Your potential employer might just check on you, and have a good laugh on your post here.

Location: Pasir Gudang

Tenure : 2 year + 1 year extend contract
Salary : RM250 perday = RM6500 per month.

I was in dilemma weather should i take this offer or not. since Pasir Gudang quite far away from my place and then 10 hour working day including saturday. any advise ?

Need to depends on the benefits as well. New offer got EPF?

I jz do a simple calculation as ur reference.

I assume u work 20days per month. RM3200 / 20 = RM160 per day.

Assume RM160 = 8 working hours, 1 hour = RM20
2 additional working hours = RM40

Ur new offer work 26 days.
26 days x RM160 = 4160
26 days x 2 additional working hours = 52 hours * RM20 = RM1040
RM4160 + RM1040 = RM5200

RM6500 > RM5200. So for me, I prefer RM6500. Besides that, after 3 years, I can request higher salary again.

I'm from mass comm background bt bcoz of my CGPA is not that good, i can't even have a chance to go to "A" for interview cuz they hire 2nd class upper and above only.
But for me they should at least giv ppl a chance b4 just filter ppl off based on CGPA.
Hence, i gave up so called "production line" yawn.gif
