Job Title: Management Trainee
Job Description: Basically whatever instructed
Years spent in company: 1 year and 5 mths
Company: GLC
Industry: Airline
Salary :RM2400.

Title : M & E Engineer
Job Desciption : Review design, Site Implementation, Liaise with consultants & authorities, Resolve Site Issues, Purchasing, Testing & Commissioning, Documentations + whatever my boss ask me to do
Years spent in company : 2 +
Industry : Construction

Considering the living expenses and the condition there, i suggest not to take the offer if it's the equivalent as mine. I've got no choice as there are certain clause in my contract that forbids me from rejecting the offer.

your job scopes is exactly like the ones who are "site supervisor"
i have an uncle who has the same job description like yours.

if you are asking whether you are getting a good package for the industry you are in, i'd say its average.

If you are asking whether there would be better jobs out there in different industry, DEFINITELY.

my uncle rarely comes back, and relocation is always frustrating as a new project can be anywhere in the country.

Now you may be going selayang, what happens when this project ends and you are relocated to another site that is TWICE or more further?

I can only give you two advice,
1. Demand for a better package
2. Look for other jobs, preferably a different one.

@Everyone
For those that is advising Senyii, I have learnt that it is better to TALK TO YOUR MANAGER rather than resign and hope for a counter.

A phrase that a lot of senior and mid level managers have told me is "Good managers are not threatened by resignation".

Go and talk to them. If it fails, then resign. The manager would appreciate your input rather than have to scratch their head to find a replacement.

OK... but it' good to leave at times. Resignation is not necessarily to "threaten" or to hope for counter offer.

Managers are also not final decision makers. They also cant fulfill much of what is requested.
