Total working experience: Fresh
Company : Automotive
Location: KL
Industry : Automotive
Tenure : Permanent
Position Level : Insurance Estimator (vehicle damage assessor)
Salary : RM2000
Bonus : 4 quarter yearly,based on company profit..

Is it good enough for me? been to many training ,and company might send me to oversea (uk) for a training....i was wondering what job i can look into if i wana change job..

I'm satisfy with my job now as I've got to meet many new people and have got a flexible time.

You serious? That is salary per month or per year? Even if it's for per year rate, that is very high considering that you only have 2 years experience. WOW!!

hi i am design engineer with additional 1 professional certification which is CSWP. - certified solidworks professional

current salary is RM2.4k 2 years experience.

am i underpaid? sad.gif

autocad is the fundamental of CAD software..but its depend on user how to make use of it.
solidwork is more advance CAD software that are using in engineering field..
but not all company able to pay for the price of solidworks...

i know how to use several CAD software which is:

solidworks
catia
autocad
iron cad
mechanical desktop (3D version of autocad)

Have u tried getting a new job? check how much u r worth? Here at my place, with AUTOCAD is about RM2.2k for 2 yrs

well, it is true that engineers in malaysia are not paid well n not respected.
Coz a lot of dumb engineers around, some do not even know simple laws of physics.
BEM and IEM do not regulate the professional fees well enuf.
A lot of 1 man show consultants.

do u know why?
cos IEM n BEM are controlled by the bosses of engineering companies...
if they push to raise the salary of engineers, it would mean that they have to fork out more to pay their engineers...
