just out of curiosity but I read a lot of people saying the current market trend is employee's market. Where there are lots of jobs but not enough people willing to work.

But what I see is those employers are paying too low for those jobs. Lower than the "fair" salary. Then they complain nobody want to work lah and that lah. Of course there are exception but let's not talk about exception cases. We talk about generally.

Cause I see a lot of people getting only like below 2k for some support job that is quite technical. I know cause it's my line. What about other jobs or company? Are they offering peanut and expect much work or it's just me?

To me these company are just trying to take advantage of employees and not paying them a fair salary.

@robin liew

I think not bad. 7 years 7.8k is not too bad. Not high, but certainly not low..

Take a look at his workhours. I dont think anyone can do it. It must be pretty harsh and I believe whenever a company decides to pay you high, they expect more than what u are being paid in return to them.

You are over paid, just with 2 years experience, what you expect to get? 5k? or 7k?

Some manager level only getting 4k with years of experience.

No he's not overpaid. How is he overpaid? He has 3 years experience and he's at 4k. Thats not the highest and not the lowest. I would say appropriate.
