Hi there i want to ask every malaysian WoW player.

Does everyone is having massive lag in this few days ? Or is only me ?

It was fine until the lag getting more and more starting at 1st of March.

I was wondering is WoW server lag or our Streamyx lagging.

well, it is true.
I had play US wow for 2years+ few years back, normally 300ms~3000ms depend on the mood of streamyx.Even if using proxy server only able to get 150ms~200ms

Now, TW wow getting less than 100ms daily . . . . . around 50ms~80ms

whenever there is a thread about lag or high latency...

sure those wow taiwan will come to do promo...

if only wowtaiwan have 1 english server..lol

Because we are proud to be able to read chinese and play with smooth ping.
Thanks to our parent they let us go to our mother school to study our mother language.

where got? got english speaking guild one mar.

depends on which location also. at my home hard to get 50ms - 100ms. mostly 100ms - 200ms average
but at my gf's home at taman midah, cheras, can get < 100 ms

got good thing we sure come sharing one.

got 1 alliance english speaking guild mar. quite a lot of players.

hohoho actually nowadays, got a lot of non chinese send their kids to SRJK© in order to learn mandarin.
them are more fluent than chinese. O_O

1 guild doesnt mean u are free from community with chinese language. if everyone offline u definitely going to be lonely..lol..cannot understand the trade chat at all. pug will be very hard. pug raid is definitely out of question. Becoz u cant understand what the RL assign u. lol.

Recently i discovered a CC with bunch of WoW TW players, and they told me that realm has the most malaysian who speak english in there, they have a dedicated channel for themself in there too, but sadly i forgotten which realm is it already, lol.

And you can play WoW TW with US client.

Why WoW Taiwan all communicate using chinese words sob sob wuwuwuw T.T

Yesterday night went for 25man raid and my ms went up to 1.3k

My usual ms without tunnel is around 300-400

Any idea how to solve this issue when i go for 25man raid?

Solution: Opt for 10 man raids instead.

Wah, you have serious lag issues there.

Normally, when I play wow, I don't have any downloads running in the background/housemates who hog your bandwidth, my latency would be around ~300ms without tunneling service.

With tunneling service, I can get ~220ms.

Ya it just started few weeks ago. before that my line is very smooth same like you without tunnel i can get 300-250 ms but i dont know what is happening zzzzz. Now i cant even do daily quest dont talk about raid or heroic T.T i miss boss fighting

Trying out Wtfast tunneling service tonight one of my friend using hopes i have a good result =)

use this to solve the registery fix. im sure ur latency will drop down to below 1k and then u can get a tunnel service to enhance ur latency

Get onto something like Streamyx 4MB service. Its a lot different from the 1MB or 2 MB package - routing to US seems a bit different. Typically see around 300ms to 500ms in 25m raids. Caveat - past 2 weeks WoW seems to be a lag-feast since patch 4.06 was deployed on live servers. Plenty of posts all over including players in SEA about this on the official forum.

Hi Babycookie if your using TMnut i suggest you phone to them and fire there ass than u will have a smooth line again.

So far now my line is stable back again without tunnel im getting 270-300ms again god bless haiz.

TMnut should really put more focus on the stability on there line and services.

Today WOW nice ping 250-300ms, then suddenly tommorow open WTF 10k-15kms.

Are you using Unifi ?

My friend using Unifi seems to have a lower ping usually

Streamyx is definitely conserving bandwidth, so they prioritize on how much bandwidth to allocate based on how much a customer group pays.

Lower paying customer groups will get less bandwidth unfortunately. Something like..

Businesses = 50% total bandwidth allocated
Unifi = 40% total bandwidth allocated
Streamyx = 10% total bandwidth allocated

I'm using Unifi and i'm getting lag spike instead of high latency.

Exactly what i facing

hmm cant say, im playing in a US realm Mal'ganis and up till i have not face a serious lag with Unifi.

(No i didnt use proxy or anything D: )
