Hi, as some forumers pointed out, it snowed a few days ago and it's very windy right now. wunderground.com says it's max 16 celcius and coldest at 0 degree at night while timeanddate.com hovers between -3 to 12 degrees.

Now I'm confused about what's to bring and wear when I'm there next week. Do I still need gloves, beanie cap and boots to stay warm? Initially I'm planning to just wear jeans, sandals, cardigans and normal jackets but now I wonder if they are sufficient.

I am currently planning my first trip to S.Korea. Knowing I like food very much, my friend (frequent busy travel to Seoul) told me to try out the following:-

@ Seoul, please do go visit these places for food:
1) All the korean street snacks can be get here under one roof - Gwang Jang market
2) Sariwon - For yummylicious Bulgogi
3) Singdangdong - for spicy tteokbokki with noodles, fishcakes, eggs, etc..(good for a late night supper especially in cold weather - missed this)
4) Myeongdong Gyoja - for spicy cold noodles
5) Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken soup) - near the Palace (Gyeong Bok Gong).
6) Crispy Duck near KBS station...forgot the address, can go eat and try to catch if can see some korean artiste..hahaha
7) Fish market - for korean style fresh sashimi and other seafood.

arghhh, a lot more.

I read that there is also free shuttle bus service between BUSAN And GYEONGJU for tourists to Korea.

http://kto.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/ek/ek_1_4_...429#SubMenuView

http://www.tripadvisor.com.au/ShowTopic-g2...outh_Korea.html

However, I am unable to locate the registration/booking of this service in the KTO webpage. Is this route being terminated now? Anybody knows or tried the service before? icon_question.gif

I am scouting for the best exchange rate for Korean Won during the weekend. The best I could get is 1000 won = RM 2.87 (Sg Wang). Need to change a lot of won, cos all the hostel and guest house we booked only accept cash. Also there will be 6 of us for 15 days trips. :-)

Let me know if anyone know a better rate somewhere in Klang Valley... Thank you
