My AA flight to seoul on 28 march which is on monday, could not find any ground arrangement tour package for this date except private tour which is very expensive...need all the guidance for my free & easy trip. Worry about the language barrier over there...

Came back from Seoul yesterday...

Weather in Seoul: Unpredictable. It rained consistently at night on 27th and 28th Feb.. very windy and bitterly cold. This week, no rain but still windy.. your face will be slapped with harsh cold with every gale of wind while walking on the street. It's sunny on some days only so for travelers going in mid-March please bring winter clothes. Daytime is about 5-7 degree celsius but nightime usually went below 3 or 4. I wear 4-5 layers everyday to keep warm. Seoulites said Spring will come in early April, so yea, be prepared!

Yes, it was snowing/raining the day we came back from Gyeonju (24th march). we didn't manage to catch a picture because it is only for a short time. we only realized that it was snowing after realizing the slow motion drop  .

my gross expenses:

food:rm300 (i only eat proper meal once a day,ranging 7000-14000-i'm muslim so not many choices)
shopping: rm250 (souvenir only-bought at Insadong,there is one shop where the lady can speak BM. she gave us superb discount  ). i did buy something from Nature Republic which cost me RM6.6 after 50% discount, but got threw away at the airport because i forgot to put it in my luggage 
transportation: rm 120 (subway/bus-the bus to Gyeonju is free otherwise it is going to cost 26000 won return)
admission: rm130 (2 palaces, namsan tower+cable car,Gyeonju,Hangang river cruise(15000 won)-we went to Hangang river at night,if daytime the cost of the cruise only 11000 won)
accomodation: rm360 (3 person @ 55000 won per night)

total cost at South Korea RM1160 exhange rate 1000 won=0.00282, i brought rm1800. the balance will be use for my next trip  (i want to go to Gyeonju/Jeonju/Sockho)
me too,that's way my cost is like that. i went to so many places sometime by myself. my friends went to everland, it cost them nearly 50000won

Theres very very minor radiation detected in the rain showers at Busan today.
It's.. started. People at Busan were quite scared to go out today.

Hope it doesn't get worst.

i am currently in Seoul. was wondering if withdrawing cash directly from Citibank ATM using my Malaysian Citibank ATM card a good idea?
Will it give me the best exchange rate? Also, is there any transaction/service fee ? As the citibank website does not state much information on this.

There is a charge if you withdraw money from a foreign ATM using a Malaysian card. If not mistaken the charge is Rm30 (correct me if i'm wrong as i got charged this amount before) and no, you dont get good rates. Would suggest you email to Citibank customer service to get a clearer detail.
