Hi forumers,

I'm going to visit Korea this September with family free & easy. Plan to stay in guest house at Seoul, Busan and Jeju due to budget constraint.

Any recommend guest house which easy access to public transport, subways or etc....

Thanks

Anyone knows what time does Airport Buses & Arex train starts operating from seoul?
Need to arrive at the incheon airport at 7am... staying at a hotel in downtown seoul.
Noticed that it takes 1+hour to airport...... dont wanna miss my flight!

in my opinion food is simply awesome...had nothing but good food every day...not cheap but not expensive either...really good bbq and noodles...also love all their banchan...
*
agree. Its expensive. They use to bbq, bimbibap & noodles. Their cooking style almost the same, for me not much choice. Since most of the time bbq, many ppl get sick and keep cough on flight when on the way back to KL. I also one of them..

I found Japanese food is cheaper than korean food. ^^

anyone here stayed in ann guesthouse/bangrang hostel during ur trip ??
help me choose one ..  rclxub.gif

I stayed in Ann Guesthouse last week. Ann & her husband are very friendly. Very good service and they provide free laundry service.
The location is excellent. Subway just in the basement and hongik market just opposite.
I booked Hongdae Guesthouse at 1st but I changed to Ann GH cause I found they actually in the building and the main point is the environment looks better and its cheaper.

No comment on Bangrang Hostel. Not on my survey list o....

hmmm i disagree about ppl getting sick from their food...i never had any issues and i had a big variety of food...i feel their food was cleaner and safer...not a single tummy ache...but note i had a friend working there so i get to visit many local places and try all sorts of food...
*
laugh.gif I jus mentioned if all the time bbq will get "sick" the sick means "sore throat" & cough. I never mentioned their food is " dirty " & make u tummy ache @@""

For get more in budget way u can buy rice tea, kimchi, ginseng sweets or etc which can easily get in the Lotte Mart with a good price.

For valuable 1 can go for ginseng, clothes, handbags, accessories at namdaemun, hongdae, ,myeongdong market.
