Hi guys,

I've travelled to South Korea (Seoul & Jeju-do) last year March with my girlfriend. We both had a great time there and I blogged about the trip here: http://eongxien.wordpress.com/category/travel/asia/korea/

If you have any specific questions on Seoul or Jeju, feel free to ask. I'll try to answer the best I could. smile.gif

Im refering to tour guide in jeju. Seoul will be traveling/exploring by ourselves. =) Mostly in jeju we travel via bus? or there is other means of transport? thanks!~

When I was in Jeju, I stayed at a place called Tae Gong Gak (Highly recommended!). For the first day, we took the Yeha Tour to the east side of the island. The tour itself is pricey, but it was well organized as per advertised. It felt a little rush though as we were given very limited time in the attractions. Still, you get what you pay for as apparently, cheaper ground tours might bring you to overpriced souvenir shops etc.

On the last day, Slyvia from Tae Gong Gak helped to book us a day taxi that brought us around the west side of Jeju before dropping us at the airport. I highly recommend the taxi tour as the taxi driver was very friendly and you're free to spend as long (Or as short) time you like at an attraction. The driver also brought us to a local eatery that offers cheap and tasty meal. We specially requested for something other than BBQ so he brought us to a noodle shop.

Alternatively, you might want to drive at Jeju but unless you have a group of 4-5, car rental isn't cheap. There are buses, but quite sparingly and you might end up spending most of your time waiting.

Good luck with your planning!

I second Tae Gong Gak hostel!!! The rooms are clean, the price is affordable and the breakfast's greeattt! E-mail them and get them to arrange a taxi for your tour. The owner Sylvia will be very glad to help you out. smile.gif

In fact, we went trekking on one of the days and she even sent us to the starting point.

Nope, the whole journey would take a few weeks right? I managed to finish Route #7, not too bad but at certain points the wind was so strong that we were freezing like hell.

Which route did you take? biggrin.gif

Also, I went to their website just now. I noticed they put up all the photos and drawings they received from the visitors. Managed to find ours. thumbup.gif
